Here is summer

Well from the last post to now I have planned our summer. FUN Fun fun... That is what I hope to have. The kids are on there way to earn random items for chores being done and they seem to love this system. Austin is now in braces and Micayla is a foot taller. Keyda has stayed in this if I do not win I will quit stage and she is going to be the death of Sam and I. Sam has finished out the first 5K for our little friend Aiden who has been diagnosed with MPSII. He did a great job and we had over 250 runners. I am loving the fact that he has been working so hard for someone so sweet as the Spaeth family. You can check out the web page at www.suportaiden.com . We will be in Texas in July and the up to Oklahoma after that. In August there will be a short trip to Michigan. All that is on top of Soccer and cheer and tumbling. I might loose my mind but I hope it will be FUN Fun fun.

Summer has come

Well it is now summer for the kids and we are ready. The list of things has been written and we hope to do it all. Austin will be in the fifth grade next year so I feel like I should enjoy his youth while I still can. The girls will be in first and second so they still like to go with mom. I hope to post about all the fun we have.

The kitty litter box.

Oh man I almost forgot. So I spend tons of money that I needed to save on a new litter box. As some of you know I have two cats. One is little and only weighs 6 lbs and hates the world most days and then there is Sasquatch. He lives up to his name. The cat id 25 lbs easy and loves to torture the entire house. He has us all trained to feed him on command and pretty much allow him to do what ever he wants. Even the dogs let him rub under their chin for attention. So any way I bought this littler box that does the scooping for you. This in the past has been the kids job to scoop the litter and it has been a hated job. Well now we are all loving the littler box but none as much as Sass. He hears it go off and comes running to watch it scoop. I have laughed my buns off while he is thundering through the house to catch it moving. I only hope that he continues to love it and stops jumping in to watch the rake move. I think he might wear it out by playing with it. Darn Cat.

Spring Break 2008

Spring Break what a week!

Well we have survived spring break this year but I do not know how. We have had ups and downs. The week started off pretty well. The weather was rainy so the outdoor activities were out. We watched movies and played at friends homes until... The Van's started to explode. The Van's are our friends that we do a lot with. Mark started the stomach virus and it has not stopped. I can say that we are lucky that we did not get it. So they thought that the children did not have it and we went to Cici's pizza. We are standing in line waiting to check out and the kids are horsing around. Then next thing I hear is Keyda crying. Austin had "removed" her from his back where she had been hanging and she fell. Her elbow connected with the tile floor and as the meal progressed it started to swell. That resulted in numerous calls to Sam and other medically inclined friends to form the consensus that she should go to the ER to have her first X-Ray. We did come out without a broken elbow just a bruised bone and a ton of stickers. The next day the vomit begins through the Van's children. I decide to stay far way from this and we go with Laura to a bouncing play land. The kids had a blast playing with James and so did the moms. I jumped and played like I was 5. Laura after just having surgery a couple of weeks ago took it alittle lighter but still had a blast. As I am out having fun with my friend my loving husband has taken apart out bathroom and rebuilt it. It is looking great. He gets cool points from me. Friday is fun night with the Howells and we play games and eat good food. Sat. I am thinking that it will be a fun day. The Van's take Austin to a model rocket launch and the girls paint their nails. We decide to go to Friendly's for dinner. Now this is a joint that has Ice Cream with every ones meal and just a fun place to eat. On the way the vomit begins again. Paige spews in the car. Allen does not go because he is not feeling well again and from what I understand by this mornings phone call Michael was puking last night again. So far my children have not gotten this bug but let us all pray... Now I am off to paint the bathroom to get it ready to finish. I have had a interesting spring break.

Proud of family and friends

I have to say that I am very proud of my family and friends. As many of you may know Sam has been running for a few years now. He has ran several marathons and numerous shorter runs. I joined the band wagon and set myself to run with him thus changing the way I work out and eat. I have missed my first goal of the flying pig half marathon in Cincinnati but I will make a long run this year. I was explaining this to my mom and she told me that we inspired her to get healthy. She joined a local gym and has began a life change. I know how much of a change it is for her but I know she can do it. I hope she can feel me with her every step of the way. Along with her change my aunt has been doing great on her diet and hit several milestones. I know that Dee will continue her loss. My friends have been doing great things this year as well. One family has joined us on the get healthy year and really put themselves on the move. Weigh lose and doctors appointments have put them on the road to success. I know that they are changing and losing. A friend from college has joined her husband on the road as well. I know that they are doing great things and have lost many pounds only proving that if you put your mind and heart to something that great things will come. In my friends and family list there are also two friends that have had major surgery that has changed the outcome of their lives. God had a plan for those women and gave them beautiful children before He made the decision to force that procedure. I thank him for each of those boys. I have left out most names because I am not the one that needs to be spreading out peoples great news but I wanted to let those know that my with for the New Year has come true. I only wanted to have a happy and healthy yer for those that I love dearly. Thanks to all for making my wish come true. If I did not mention you here please let me know how well you are doing.

The start of the F Troop

Well I thought that I would find a new way of "keeping up with the Jones's" per say so I decieded to start a family blog. I will give a brief over view for those that might not have known where we are. Sam and I met almost eleven yrs ago now and we got married and had Austin, not exactly in that order. Sam was still military then and we lived in Sweetwater. After a transfer to Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo we decieded that we needed more children. I was not planning on having them so we went an alternate route. We started the foster to adopt classes and set out for three more boys. Well a phone call happened one day and we recieved our first blessing. Micayla Grace Marie Feltner was delieved to us on April 16, 2001. She was a daddies girl from the beginning. After several more children ran throught our home on July 9, 2002 Keyda Brooklyn Feltner joined our happy home. We had many children that we loved dearly come and go. Sam and I would have kept them all I truely believe if they didn't have homes that God intended for them. So moving on we were sent to Yokota Japan for a year. Sam at this time went on another deployment to the "kitty litter box" and I went home to find a very sick father. We asked to come home to help my parents and in the end put my father to rest after a battle with cancer. Sam made a move to get out of the military and he moved our family to Dayton Ohio to get this work on an Air Force base doing the exact job that we was doing in the military. Now we live in a small town and we are learning to love Ohio. The kids are happy and we stay busy. I plan to tell more about our lives as this continues but enough blah blahs for now.
